Power is the ability to apply force explosively and is an extremely crucial aspect of golf – we want as much power behind our swing as we can get!
As part of Golf University’s weekly “Tip from the Pro” I videoed internationally renowned strength and conditioning coach, Alani “Storm” Mala at the Taylormade Performance Lab at the Melbourne Golf Academy where he teaches us:
- A drill specifically designed to improve your golf-relevant power
- How to get the club head speed high
- How to increase strength and power in your glutes (the king muscles for golf)

- Give us longer distance off the tee by increasing our power
