How to Hit a Hybrid Golf Club

By June 11, 2016Blog, Golf

Have you ever tried to hit a hybrid club?

Many players prefer it over the long iron, feeling that it gives them a significant advantage.

As part of Golf University’s weekly “Tip from the Pro” I videoed Adam Fraser at the TaylorMade Performance Lab at the Melbourne Golf Academy, where he teaches us:

  • How hybrids are becoming common amongst elite players
  • The structural differences between a hybrid and an iron

And …

  • How the hybrid’s greater surface area causes a ‘skidding effect’

Which will ultimately…

  • Allow us to hit the ball more consistently
