The importance of flexibility in golf should never be under-estimated.
A flexible body will allow you to really maximise the power and rotation in your golf swing.
As part of Golf University’s weekly “Tip from the Pro” I videoed internationally renowned strength and conditioning coach, Alani “Storm” Mala at Riverside Oaks Golf Resort, Sydney, Australia, where he teaches us:
- An easy drill to massively increase our lower back flexibility
- How to get a good range of motion in areas that are necessary for the golf swing
And …
- Different levels of the exercise for different flexibility levels
Which will ultimately…
- Allow us to increase our flexibility to maximise the effectiveness of our golf swing
